Hey everyone! Today's Springtastic post is a guest post from the lovely Claire!

Hello! My name's Claire, from Carrot and Claire, Doll Express, and hello little birdy. Today I'm going to show you how to make a flower belt. It is really easy to make, and is an adorable Spring accessory.
You will need:
a fabric flower(You can make one using this tutorial)
a string of fake pearls that are flat on the bottom(for sewing) or ribbon
Velcro
hot glue gun
your doll for measurement
1) Measure the strand of pearls or ribbon around your doll's waist, leaving about a half inch hanging.
2) Hot glue a small piece of Velcro to each side. Try it on your doll to see if it fits.
3) Hot glue a flower on the belt.
Ta-da! Fabulous!
Creates a sophisticated look!
Hope you liked it!
By the way, my doll, Dakota is #55, outfit from American Girl, hair accessory from Target.
Isn't it adorable?!?!? We can't wait to try this! Thank you so much Claire!

Springtastic Day 5: Celebrating Cinco de Mayo!
Hi everyone! Today we celebrated Cinco de Mayo! Did you? To get in a festive mood we put on some bright and colorful clothing.
Marisol wore this adorable dress we won in a giveaway on AGMarket's blog My American Girl's Story . (By the way it's an amazing blog! One of our favorites. You should check it out if you haven't already.) Isn't it so cute? Many thanks to Angelique and her sponsor!
Nadia wore a bright tie-dye print tank, hot pink, jean shorts (from the Industrious Dog), and some strappy sandals. She wore her hair in the side knot. You can see how to do that here. Actually, she stole the outfit I was going to wear. She said she had called "dibs" on it yesterday. Whatever that means. I think she just thinks I have great taste. ;)
Sonali wore these awesome southwestern print, corduroy skinny jeans (that will be in our Etsy hopefully by tonight!), a hot pink top, some purple flats, and a cute, flower hair clip. Aren't the skinnies awesome or what?!?!
And last but not least (and the best :)), I wore my Feast Outfit. And, I put my hair up in a French Twist. Isn't just perfect for Cinco de Mayo?????
And a group shot. Oh, and if you're wondering if our other sisters (Elizabeth and Kirsten) dressed up, yes they did, but someone has to take the pictures. :)
What did you do today?
Adios,
Josefina
P.S. We will have a giveaway once we reach 30 followers and this is our 40th post!!!!!

Springtastic Day 4: The Side Knot
First, comb the hair to one side. There shouldn't really be a part. It should all be going to one side.
Pull the hair back until it's behind the ear and then start twisting it.
Then wrap it around into a bun shape. Use hair elastics to hold in place and then use bobby pins to pin it close to the head.
If your doll has short or layered hair some strands will probably fall out. That is totally ok. In fact, that was the look we were hoping for.
And there you have it! The side knot!
What do you think of the side knot?
Love,
Marisol

Springtastic Day 2: Pretty in Peplum and Our New Etsy Shop!!!!!!
Peplum is a huge trend right now this spring. So, to give you some ideas, here are our favorite peplum outfits.
Peplum looks super cute when paired with a pair of colored pants and some strappy sandals. It gives it a chic, city-girl look. This is perfect for an afternoon shopping in the city, site-seeing or lunch at a restaurant.
For a more casual look, where peplum with some jeans. This is perfect for a visit to a friends, brunch or a quick stop at the coffee shop.
I hope this gives you some ideas! Also, super exciting news. WE OPENED OUR ETSY SHOP!!!!!! (Yes, that sentence is in all caps. That's how excited we are.) Here is the link: etsy.com/shop/sodapopstreet Please check it out. Oh and the first outfit and the shirt in the second picture will be for sale!!!
