Hey everyone! Long time no post? :) We have been busy with fall activities picking up, getting ready for school, and enjoying the last few days of summer (we start school on Monday, yikes!). Last weekend we made an all of us dolls video. If you haven't seen it already on YouTube (our channel is MyInnerStarUStudios) then watch it below. Plus, most of you don't know this, but I (Katie) got some more dolls. Yup, that's right dollSSSSS! Watch the video to see which ones! :)

The Perfect Accessories
First, we have a sparkly, gold scarf. If you haven't guessed it already, we LOVE scarves. It is very well made and adds a pop to every outfit.
Next, we got a grey, knit hat. The colors are very pretty and neutral so the hat goes with everything. The quality is amazing!
And last, but not least, is this lovely, silver necklace. It is super cute and goes with everything! We wear this almost every day. (If you haven't noticed, it's in lots of pictures on this blog.)
Thank you so much Michelle for sending us these items from your amazing shop Cinder Frost Studios. Be sure to check out her lovely Etsy shop here:

Stay cool in this hot weather!

DIY Swimsuit Cover-Up
Happy June! To get into the summer spirit I decided to show you all how to make a DIY swimsuit cover-up inspired by THIS human sized one on Pinterest.. These are great to toss on when you want to take a break from the water or you want to grab a quick snack before you hop back in. I know I will be using this all summer. I practically live in the water in the summer!
1. Cut a rectangle of cotton fabric (we recommend using an old t-shirt) 6 inches wide and 19 inches long
2. Cut 3, 1/2inch strips and braid together.
3. Cut attach the braid to one end and the side like in the picture. Repeat on other side. Sew.
To Wear It:
4. Lay it flat with your doll on top.
5. Take one side, bring it across your doll and slide their arm through the braided strap.
6. Bring the other side across.
What do you think? I can't wait to use mine! (She means OURS!-Elizabeth)
Happy Summer!

A Package from Elegant Basics!
Hey there! A few weeks ago we received a package from the Etsy shop Elegant Basics by AGMarket. We absolutely adore everything! We got French lace leggins, a tulle and satin skirt, and a jean jacket. (The shirt and shoes we already had.)
Everything fits beautifully and looks adorable on us. (Well....me so far because I haven't taken the clothes off yet so my sisters haven't been able to wear them.) ;)
The jean jacket has floral cuffs and faux pockets. The skirt has an elastic waistband and can be worn dressed up or down. The leggings are just so pretty! They have a floral design and, the best part, the lace is from France!
This outfit is perfect for hanging out with your friends, going shopping at the mall or eating ice cream on a summer day. I would definitely recommend Elegant Basics to anyone. Your doll's wardrobe isn't complete without something from her shop. Plus, she has amazing prices. Check it out: www.etsy.com/shop/ElegantBasics
Pros:
-Fast shipping
-Great quality
-Amazing prices
-Trendy and stylish
Cons:
Nothing here!
Thank you so much AGMarket! We really like everything we got!

How to do the High Ponytail
Hi! Today, I'll be showing how I do high ponytails. High ponies are super cute and look great with almost every outfit.
Gather your hair on top of your head. That's right, ON TOP. (I recommend holding your doll upside down and then gathering the hair up with your free hand.)
Secure with a hair elastic. Brush out the pony, remember to brush out the underside too.
Spread the hair out (like the picture below) and comb. I recommend putting one hand around the elastic and laying the hair on top of the hand and then combing. Fluff it out and adjust it until you like the look.
Doesn't it look so cute?

P.S. One more follower and then we will have 20 followers! Thank you so much.

Make a T-Shirt Braided Bracelet
Hey all DIY and fashion lovers! Listen up, do you love super simple, quick and easy DIYs that you can wear right away? Well then, I have the answer for you. It's called.....(drum roll please)....a t-shirt braided bracelet. Yup, that's right, you can whip dozens of these up in a few minutes. Let's get started.
You're going to need:
-old t-shirt
-scissors
-tape
-sewing machine or thread and needle
Cut out three strips of fabric, about a 1/2 inch wide and 5-7 inches long. (Your not going to use all of the 5-7 inches, this is just for caution and the fact that it will depend on how tight/loose you will want it.)
Tape the ends to the floor and braid like you would for a friendship bracelet. (If that's what you do, I'm not quite sure since I've never made one.)
Fold and put the ends together. Then sew a straight line about an inch away from the fold. And your finished! Wasn't that super easy? There are so many fun color options. Have fun with it!

Sonali's Fashion: DIY Doll Infinity Scarf
Hello people! This is the one and only fashionable Sonali here! Today's post is all about fashion. I'm going to show you a quick, easy way to add some fashion to your doll's outfits. It's called an infinity scarf! I absolutely love these. I wear these all the time because they add a fashionable touch to any outfit. Plus, they are totally the trend.
You are going to need:
-Stretchy Fabric (I usually use an old t-shirt. It's nice and stretchy and it looks realistic.)
-Scissors
-Sewing Machine
-Thread
-5 minutes (At the most it should take you about 5 minutes. But, once you get the hang of it you will be whipping them up in 1-2 minutes.)
First, cut your fabric 3 inches wide and 26 inches long on a fold..
Fold it in half, rights sides together, and sew the long side.
Right side it out and tuck the end into the fabric on the inside (this will stop the ends from fraying and make it look nice). Pin the ends together and sew.
It's ready for you doll to wear now!
The second picture here just took my breath away when I put the effect on it.
Until my next fashion post,
Sonali
