First Day of School

So, it's been about a month since school started for us so we decided it's about time we showed pictures from our first day of school.

 Here I am packing all of my school supplies into my backpack.

 My first day of school outfit.  I go to a private school so we have to wear uniforms.

 Walking into school.  It's so exciting to be back!

 I spotted my good friend Ivy right away and waved to her.

 I ran over and gave her a big hug.  It had been a few weeks since we had seen each other.

 We had so much to catch up on, but not enough time.  The bell rang and it was time for class.

 My teacher is really nice.  I really like her.

 Ivy and I got to sit together!  Hopefully we don't talk to much though or our teacher will split us up.

 Another one of my good friends, Cecile, is across from me.

Lunch was delicious and was the perfect time to catch up with my friends.

Meet All of Us Dolls

Hey everyone!  Long time no post?  :)  We have been busy with fall activities picking up, getting ready for school, and enjoying the last few days of summer (we start school on Monday, yikes!).  Last weekend we made an all of us dolls video.  If you haven't seen it already on YouTube (our channel is MyInnerStarUStudios) then watch it below.  Plus, most of you don't know this, but I (Katie) got some more dolls.  Yup, that's right dollSSSSS!  Watch the video to see which ones! :)

Riding Our Bike!

 Hey everyone!  A few weeks ago we got our bike from Ebay!  My sisters and I have all been learning how to ride it.  It was a bit scary at first, but now I've got the hang of it.

 Do you like my outfit?  It's what I wore on the 4th of July.  Our 4th was a lot of fun.  We went to a parade, fireworks, and had barbeque!  Next year, I want to be in the parade!

Meet Devin!

Hi lovely followers!  Today I will be introducing you to Devin our new brother.  Isn't he cute? ;) 
His full name is Devin James.  We got him from Ebay for $50 (as you may remember from a previous post) and his wig also from Ebay.

He is quite the character and likes all the attention he is getting since he is new.  He is bold, adventurous, athletic, musical, and kind (just sometimes to his sisters).
He likes to play football, basketball, any other sport, and the trumpet.  But, his favorite things to do are play baseball, skate board, and dance hip-hop!

Make a Rain Poncho

 Hey there!  I don't know about you, but where we live it's been raining almost non-stop for the past several weeks!  So to stay dry we are going to show you how to make a rain poncho.

First, your going to need an old shower curtain, table cloth, or plastic bag.  We found this plastic stuff in the scrap bin at the fabric store.  Place a dinner plate on it and draw a circle about 3 inches bigger all the way around it.  Cut out the circle.

 Fold the circle in half and place your doll on it in the middle.  Mark where her shoulders are.

With it still folded cut a half circle.  Open it and see if it is big enough for your doll's head to fit through.  If not fold again and cut a deeper half circle.

Stay dry (or cool if it is really hot where you live).

First Day of Camp!

Today was the first day of Camp Doll Diaries!  As soon as we arrived we went to check.  We had to wait a while because the line was really long.

 Finally Marisol checks in.  Our camp leader, Grace, was checking in everyone.  She is super nice!

Elizabeth is still waiting!  She has a huge bag!  She is wearing a headband that Angelique from My American Girl's Story sent us.  Isn't it adorbs?!?!  She is also wearing some chocolate chips converse that our lovely sponsor Ada from Release Rain sent us.  They are very well made, super easy to get on, and they are a neutral color so they go with lots of outfits.

Sonali and I chatted about what activities we are planning to do at camp while we waited for the other to check in.

Finally everyone checked in and we head to our cabin!

Oh no!!!  There is only room for three in a cabin!  Some of us are going to have to camp in a tent!

I called the top bunk right away.  Marisol wasn't to happy about it! :)

Elizabeth was reading the schedule for meals and activities.

Ahhh!  Know I'm going to snuggle under my warm covers for a nice sleep.  I can't wait for tomorrow and all of the fun camp activities to begin!

Summer Shimmer: Summer 2013 Designer Collection

Hi!  Today, I have some super exciting news for you all.  We just released our first outfit in our Summer 2013 Designer Collection!  Click HERE to view it on our Etsy. We call this one of a kind outfit, Summer Shimmer.  

We were inspired by this photo below that we found on Pinterest. 

It features a light pink, silk, high-low skirt with an elastic waistband, a white tank, an infinity scarf with an all-over heart print, a khaki belt (that velcros in the back), and Sophia's Striped Flip-Flops.

Any doll would look fantastic in this outfit!  It is perfect for a graduation, fancy dinner or party, or church.  Your doll can stay cool while looking fashionable.
